I found at the public market an Annona reticulata. In Reunion Island, we called it Heart of Beef. It is fruit. The aspect is odd, but it is delicious! It tastes like nougat. Be careful not to eat the pits. There are a lot.

J’ai trouvé au marché un coeur de boeuf ou cachiman ou corossolier réticulé. C’est un fruit délicieux dont le goût se rapproche de celui du nougat. Il ne faut pas se fier à l’aspect de la chair qui est un peu bizzare. Attention aux pepins il y en a pas mal.
